A Celebration of Ordination

The Church has traditionally practiced ordination as a religious elevation of position, only available to certain people who qualify by virtue of their education and/or their ecclesiastical role.

But what does the New Testament actually say about it? Jesus revealed that, “Many are called, but few are chosen.” How are leaders in the body of Christ recognized and chosen, and is this level of service available to everyone?
